the theme for our second volume

what remains asks contributors to look at what survives — in memory, in inheritance, in the objects and stories we carry forward. it is about history in every sense: the history of a place, a family, a self. we welcome poetry, photography, and visual art from artists of all ages, backgrounds, and corners of the world.
